Cinzia Forte - Madama Butterfly
Lyric coloratura soprano, Cinzia Forte is praised by international critics for
the uncommon elegance of her phrasing and remarkable stage presence. Mrs. Forte
is present on the billboards of the main Italian and European theaters such as
the Teatro alla Scala, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Teatro La Fenice in Venice,
Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Teatro Regio in Turin,
Opera in Rome, Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, ROH Covent Garden,
Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Liceu in Barcelona, Teatro de la Maestranza in
Seville, Zurich Opera House, Théâtre des Champs-Elysees in Paris, Opéra Royal de
Wallonie in Liège, Deutsche Oper Berlin and Teatro Real in Madrid. Cinzia Forte
has lately added important roles to her repertoire: Contessa d’Almaviva in Le
Nozze di Figaro (Liège), Anna Bolena (title role, in Trieste) and
Desdemona in Otello (Pisa and Cagliari). Mrs Forte opened the 2013 season
of the Teatro San Carlo singing La Traviata, Mariotti conducting and
Ozpetek directing. She recently starred as Gilda in Rigoletto in Genoa,
Luisi conducting, and as Eleonora in Donizetti’s Il Furioso all’Isola di San
Domingo in Bergamo, Rovigo, Savona and Ravenna. Mrs. Forte returned to
the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège singing Marzelline in Fidelio and
Lisetta in La Gazzetta.
On the concert side,
she sang a gala concert with the ORT-Orchestra Regionale for the opening of the
Festival Incontri in Terra di Siena as well as Rossini’s Stabat Mater in
Trieste and Ljubljana.
Plans include: Il
Turco in Italia in Treviso and Ferrara; Desdemona in Otello in Liège;
Orfeo ed Euridice in Trieste and Naples where she will also star in La
Traviata.

Gregory Bonfatti - Goro
A winner of the “A. Belli” competition in Spoleto, he made his debut as Don
Ramiro (La Cenerentola), starting an intense activity that brought him to
many of the most important international opera theaters, such as: Teatro alla
Scala in Milan, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Teatro Regio in Parma, Teatro Regio
in Turin, Teatro del Maggio Musicale, Paris Opéra, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam,
Royal Opera House Covent Garden. Gregory Bonfatti is in high demand especially
for character roles such as Dr. Cajus in Falstaff, Arlecchino in Pagliacci and
Goro in Madama Butterfly (a role he recorded for EMI with Antonio
Pappano). He collaborated
with prestigious conductors such as: Riccardo Muti, Daniele Gatti, Maurizio
Benini, Gabriele Ferro, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Paolo Arrivabeni, Zoltan Pesko and
Vladimir Jurowski. Plans include: Rigoletto in Amsterdam; Le Nozze di
Figaro and Turandot in Toulouse; Tchaikovsky’s Cherevichki in
Cagliari.
